The ICFJ-United Nations Foundation Reporting Fellowship will give 10 journalists access to global experts and policymakers who focus on topics ranging from poverty and health to education and the environment. In advance of the 2016 United Nations General Assembly session, the fellows will participate in briefings and roundtable discussions with experts. Through hands-on sessions, they will learn about new data and storytelling strategies to help them cover these critically important issues. During and after the Sept. 18-20 fellowship, the journalists will produce one to two in-depth, contextual stories related to the sustainable development goals.
Interested journalists (from any country) working in North America are invited to apply now. The application deadline: Aug. 15, 2016. ICFJ will cover all transportation costs, hotel and meal expenses for the fellows.
Application Deadline: August 15
