The International Youth Federation is an international non-profit youth organizations network governed by the present Statutes and the Swiss Civil Code. It is neutral politically, and non-denominational, aim to empowering youth worldwide.

Under direct supervision of the Regional Director, The Regional Country Director leads the cultivation of sophisticated understanding of the national environments as they engage with the IYF response and activities, and maximize opportunities to align the IYF response with prevailing youth development agendas, and promotes policy coherence across the Country Teams in line with IYF corporate agenda and to foster the development of Sustainable Development Goals.

Responsibilities:
• Provide assistance in developing strategic plans and monitor changes through our framework to identify opportunities and address challenges facing IYF operations in the country.
• Lead strategic engagement at, organizational/institutional development, governance and coordination frameworks, partnership, monitoring and resource mobilization.
• Coordinate country activities focusing more on Sustainable Development Goal.

Eligibility:
• Only (18-35) age is accepted for this position.
• Highly interest in youth empowerment issues.

Skills Required For Position
• Ability to interact cordially and communicate with a diverse community.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to assess and evaluate situations quickly, accurately and effectively.

Experience:
Experience and results preferred at national level preferred in youth/women empowerment role, development, communications, international relations, political science, economics, public administration, youth studies, sport, women empowerment, youth-led organizations or other relevant field.

Language:
Fluency in English with superior drafting skills is essential.

Assessment:
Evaluation of qualified candidates may include an assessment exercise which may be followed by a competency-based interview.
