European Youth Media Days 2017 (Funded) | Diplomacy Opportunities

The European Youth Press invites applicants to become one of the 90 young journalists (86 EU + 4 non-EU), aged between 18 and 30, who will report from the European Parliament in Brussels in the framework of European Youth Media Days (EYMD) between 16 and 18 October 2017.

The EYMD is one of the biggest events in Europe dedicated to young journalists. This year it will take place in the European Parliament seat in Brussels. Participants will experience three days of media workshops, political discussions, hands-on media production and invaluable insights into the European Parliament and international media milieu. They will interact with high-level European politicians, professional journalists and experts and engage in intercultural exchange through practical media production.

Over the course of the three-day workshop, each young journalist will work to produce a report on the topic of the seminar through their medium of choice – print, photo, radio, video (video making and TV production), multimedia (on-line tools and data journalism), and graphic design/layouting.
