2018 Umoja Short Course on Conflict in Africa

2018 Umoja Short Course on Conflict in Africa

The first Umoja Short Course in Tanzania will be an opportunity for participants to understand important issues in a dynamic environment. Using the diverse history of the region as a backdrop to explore the topic of conflict, the course will focus on non-experiential learning, community engagement, local action and global understanding.

By letting the participants guide the experience, we will ensure a productive experience for all those involved. Without any other UWC colleges or short courses in East Africa, the course will provide a unique perspective and promote UWC values. The course will enable participants to continue to engage critically long after the course has ended.
